A very good day!

I was supposed to meet my son this morning for a guitar making session at my cousin Hayden's home but he opted to go camping this weekend instead. That was okay with me but I would rather he had let me know in advance so I could make other plans. In spite of that, it was a picture perfect day. My wife and I made a day of going to see the Higginsport eagles and were fortunate enough to see them. We also visited a flea market in Ripley , then U.S. Grants birthplace, and a roadside park where we watched birds and passing boats. We then went to Walmart to buy a Tom Petty DVD and went home to watch it as we ate our supper. It doesn't get any better than that.
